“A light in our lives, now a light in Heaven.”
Our beautiful and loving daughter, Savannah Hope Humphrey, 25, of Staunton, was called home with her Heavenly Father suddenly on February 26, 2021. She was a joy and loved immensely by all who were in her life. As well, she had a big heart and love for all people and all animals, especially cats. She was born August 26, 1995, in Arlington, VA. She loved swimming, soccer, hiking, fishing and skateboarding growing up. She attended and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton in 2013. Her parents, family and close friends will forever love and miss her. We are not sure how to carry on without her.
Survivors are her mother and father, Holly and Joe Humphrey of Staunton and her stepfather, Carter Starnes of Arlington, VA.
She was proceeded in death by her son, Gabriel and grandparents, Bruce and Shirley Starnes.
Other family members include her loving grandparents, Lynn Baylor, Alice Vines, Rick and Dana Eastman, Ray and Marsha Humphrey; sister and brothers, Brittany and Tory Humphrey and Josh Canham; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as several special friends and her 7 cats.
You are gone for now, but never ever, ever forgotten. You touched all of our lives. Beautiful, talented, loving Savannah, stay in your Heavenly Father’s arms with your son, Gabriel, until we all meet again!
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2:00PM by Pastor Russell W. Marshall in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be streamed live on Henry Funeral Home Facebook page.
