ALVIN L. CRUM ROCKVILLE, MD Alvin Leroy Crum, 84, beloved husband for 63 years of Catherine "Kitty" Sprouse Crum, of 510 Mannakee Street, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in the Washington Hospital Center. He was born February 9, 1927, in Woodlawn, PA, the son of the late Minor F. and Myrtle (Baugher) Crum. He was a genuinely good man, and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was the loving father of Donna, Debra, Vicki, and Sandra; and loving grandfather of seven grandchildren. He is also survived by special cousins, Calvin C. Crum and Alvin C. Frank; and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home by the Rev. Harold W. "Pete" Campbell. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rockville United Methodist Church, 112 West Montgomery Ave., Rockville, MD 20850.
