Angelia “Jeannie” Jean Bryant Cline, wife of Russell “Nick” Cline, 69, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Laurels of Charlottesville.
She was born on December 14, 1954, in Staunton to the late Gene “Rocky” Amos and Vera Mae Miller Bryant.
Jeannie was a homemaker and a farm worker. She was known for her unwavering devotions to her family and her passions. Jeannie was a friend of Bill W.’s for over forty years.
One of Jeannie’s greatest joys in life was hunting mushrooms. She also had a special fondness for trees, loved mowing the grass and often found solace in spending time on Montebello Mountain. Above all else, Jeannie treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Russell “Nick” Nicholas Cline; her son, John Ranwell Cline and his wife, Rachel; her brother, Stephen Lee Bryant and his wife, Linda; her grandchildren, Dusty Cline, Clinton Cline and Eric Davis; and a great-grandchild, Catori Walker.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Ball officiating.
The graveside service will immediately follow at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Ruban Salazar, Jefferey McGann, Eric Robohm, Paul Dana, Robert Brock, John Stone and Dan Bassett.
Loretta and Charlie Parant and Tracy DeLung will serve as honorary pallbearers.
