Aneita D. Purcell

Aneita Kay Dull Purcell, 62, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Staunton Post Acute and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on January 11, 1963, in Richmond to the late Richard Stephen and Ellen Josephine Sorrells Dull.

Aneita most notably had a passion for crocheting and would often create beautiful pieces to reflect her artistic spirit.

She is survived by her children, Shannon Wayne Dull, April Godbey, Christopher Sprouse, and Jesse James Purcell; her sister, Bonnie Louise Dull Henderson; and her grandchildren, Kendra Sky Purcell, Jaxon Dull, Emily Dull, Jaden Sprouse, Abbi Sprouse, Alexis Godbey, Jacob Godbey, and Josh Godbey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Lee and Wendell Wayne Dull; and her sisters, June Marie Dull Back and Hilda Lorraine Dull Weaver.

Arrangements are being handled by Henry Funeral Home.
