ANNE M. MICHAEL MIDDLEBROOK, VA Anne Marie (Meyer) Michael, 81, widow of Glen Chester Michael of 1175 Walkers Creek Road, Middlebrook, died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born March 9, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio, a daughter of the late Henry H. and Marcella (Dressel) Meyer. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Michael was the head seamstress in the tailor shop of Staunton Correctional Center. She was a member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church and also a very active member of King's Way and the Middlebrook Ruritan Club. Her husband preceded her in death October 28, 1992. Family members include a son, Thomas O. "T.O." Michael of Middlebrook; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Bonnie Meyer of Michigan and Eddie and Patty Meyer of Oregon; a sister, Edith Keubler of Toledo, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. JoAnn Bunn. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
