Arabella Z. Cline

Arabella Zemenia Sumner Cline, 92, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Shenandoah House in Fishersville.

She was born on September 1, 1931, in Staunton to the late James Ledford and Beulah Zemenia Zimbo Sumner.

Arabella was a member of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren where she was a devoted member and served as a Deacon. She was also a beloved Sunday school teacher for many years where she enjoyed sharing her faith and wisdom with the younger generation. 

Arabella dedicated many years of her life working for Woolworths where she found great fulfillment in serving her community.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Berry and husband, William R. Berry; her grandchildren, Tosha and William Berry, and wife, Amy Mowbry Berry; and her great grandchildren, Kenzie, Garland and Rosaleigh Berry.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Garland Cline; a brother, James L. Sumner, Jr.; and her sisters, Ann Townsend and Judith Fisher.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Lebanon Church of the Brethren with Pastor Chuck Cole officiating.
