Barbara Mejia Rios

BARBARA D. RIOS WAYNESBORO, VA Barbara Mejia (Dunaway) Rios, 66, wife of Victor Rios of 260 N. Commerce Ave., died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at her residence. She was born May 2, 1948, in Waynesboro, a daughter of the late Thomas Arthur Madison and Elizabeth May Dunaway. She was adopted by her grandparents, Olie V. and Willie C. Dunaway. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Rios was employed by General Electric. In addition to her husband, family members include a son, Harvey Blackwell; three daughters, Vanessa Dedrick, Crystal King, and Rebecca Quick; two brothers, Edward Harris and Mickey Pike; two sisters, Doris McLaughlin and Joyce Ann Morris; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a nephew, Bucky McLaughlin; and a niece, Crystal McLaughlin. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in Riverview Cemetery by Pastor Dwayne. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
