Barry Steven Earhart, 70, of Verona, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
He was born on March 26, 1954, in Augusta County, the son of the late Richard Andy and Betty Sislica Helmick Earhart.
Barry was a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard, where he saw service in Vietnam.
He was retired from McQuay International in Verona and was also an avid hunter and farmer. He attended Greenville Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, and thought highly of his church family.
Barry is survived by sister, Brenda (Joe) Tankesley; his brother; Mark (Cathi) Earhart; his children, Rusty (Vicki) Earhart, Patch Earhart, Amanda (Donnie) Miller, Grace (Barry) Wimer, Chrysti (Shawn) Landrum, Jonathan Earhart, and Andrew Earhart; his grandchildren, Cassie (Lauren) Yaider, Kayla (Chris) Jones, Shyann (Dylan) Sorrells, Dakota Earhart, Sislica (Derek) Hall, Christian (Grace) Moore, Ashton (Makayla) May, Blake (Ryan) Thomas, Montgomery (Jada) Maybush, Peyton Maybush, Kaitlyn Grogan, Montana Grogan, Jesika Curry, Dawson Landrum, Kiya Earhart, Levi Landrum, Christian Edwards, and Bryson Earhart; fifteen great-grandchildren with one on the way; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Earhart and David Earhart, as well as a grandson, Jacob Maybush.
A graveside service will be conducted with military honors at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens with Pastor David Ball and David Gaylor officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his children.
