Betsy W. Fultz

Betsy (Wilkerson) Fultz, 94, beloved wife of Albert Stephen Fultz, Jr. of 31 Woodlee Road, Staunton, died June 22, 2022 at Brightview Baldwin Park.

She was born May 23, 1928 in Richmond, a daughter of the late Beverley N., Sr. and Isabel Martha (Ross) Wilkerson.

Mrs. Fultz was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was very active in local civic organizations.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Michael Fultz (Kittie) of High Point, NC; a daughter, Martha Fultz O’Brien of Woodbridge; four grandchildren, Aubrey Fultz Haskins (Joe), Allison Fultz Darnall, William Kyle O’Brien (Alicia), and Benjamin Michael Fultz; and a great granddaughter, Madelynn Clare O’Brien.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, she is preceded in death by a brother, Beverley N. Wilkerson, Jr.; two sisters, Marjorie W. Thomas and Celeste W. Thacker; and a niece, Beverley Stuart Thomas.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Thornrose Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Food Pantry or a charity of your choice.
