Bettijo Goble Coffey of Staunton, VA went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2022. She passed away at the age of 63 and is on the way to beginning another journey.
She was born on September 3, 1958, the oldest daughter of Herman J. Goble, Jr., who predeceased her on May 10, 2014, and Gloria A. Gould.
Bettijo received her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Mary Baldwin University in December of 2018 at the age of 60. This enabled her to assist people in nursing homes in the final stages of their journey, while allowing them to be treated with the respect that they deserve and made sure they were able to retain their dignity, regardless of their financial or family situation.
Bettijo felt that her other greatest accomplishment in life was being the mother to her three exceptional children: Jordan Grant Miska, Jacob Edward Miska, and Glorianna Grace Bentley. Bettijo will be cremated and her remains divided among her children to do with as they wish. Her death leaves her family with lots of memories and with the comfort of knowing that they will meet again one day.
In lieu of flowers, she wanted donations made to a charity of their choice in honor of her life.
