Brenda K. Wimer

Brenda Kay (Thompson) Wimer, 71, passed away on October 16, 2021 at her home.

She was born on March 28, 1950 in Staunton to the late Glenn and Martha Naomi (Monroe) Thompson.

She is survived by her fiancé, Edward Reeves; her daughter, Tonya Shifflett; her sons, Shannon Wimer (Tammy) and Jason Wimer (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Kayla McClamroch (Ryan), Coy Wimer (Lauren), Tyler Wimer ( Ezeriah), Skyler Johnson (Josh), Nyssa Stapleton (fiancé Brandon Clark), Jaden Wimer, Lexi Wimer, and Charlee Wimer; her great grandchildren, Haven McClamroch, Myles Fannan, Bowen McClamroch, Elliana Wimer; and her special friend, Sallie Trimble.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Butch and Donald Thompson; and her sister, Bonnie Wiseman.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Henry Funeral Home.
