Buelah Irene Hise

BUELAH G. HISE STAUNTON, VA Buelah Irene (Grogg) Hise, 81, widow of James Pinkney Hise, of Fishersville, died Saturday, July 9, 2011, in King's Daughters' Rehab Center. She was born March 16, 1930 in Blue Grass, VA a daughter of the late Clarence Wilbert and Margie Ann (Mick) Grogg. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Hise was employed by White Way Laundry and Western State Hospital. In addition to her husband, who preceded her in death on June 20, 1987, she was also preceded in death by two sons; four sisters; and four brothers. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Mary Sue Hise of Staunton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy A. and Fred Kanney of Stuarts Draft and Jeanette H. and John Kelley of Fishersville, where she made her home; a half brother, David Grogg of Broadway; two half-sisters, Rose Hamilton of Fishersville and Katherine Sledge of Mt. Solon; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; twenty-eight great, great grandchildren; and two great, great, great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, in Pleasant View Lutheran Church Cemetery by Major Sam D. Hearne and Lt. John Blevins. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home.
