C. Dean Moran

Charles Dean Moran, 88, widower of Juanita Mae Moran, passed away on January 23, 2023, at Richfield Health and Rehab in Salem.

Dean was born on November 16, 1934, in Augusta County to the late Ernest Russell Moran and Charlene Elizabeth Moran Penney.

He worked as an auto salesman at Paul Obaugh Ford in Staunton and was an active member of Greenville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Carolyn Sue Smith; half-brother, Raye Hyter Penney and his wife, Mary Ann Penney; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Elaine Moran.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Pauline Lawhorn Moran; his brother, Carson Gary Moran.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens with Pastor Kang Lee officiating.
