Carl Kenneth Cash, Jr., 64, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Carl, also fondly known as “Kenny” and “Dawg”, was born on July 27, 1958 in Staunton to the late Carl Kenneth Cash and Betty Ann Brown Varner. He was a long time resident of Staunton. He was a self-taught mechanic. He loved fishing, hunting, working outside in the sun, going to Goshen Pass with friends. Kenny was well-known and well-loved by everyone that passed his corner in Staunton. On a warm-sunny day, you would find Kenny outside with his beloved, best-friend, Ruggie (his Pomapoo).
He is survived by his sisters, Wanda Cash Houser and her husband, Donald and Cornelia Cash Mish and her husband, Finley (F.P.). Kenny left behind a son, Gregory W. Woodard of Staunton. He also had many nieces and nephews.
