Carl W. Breeden

Carl William Breeden, 83 of Staunton passed away at home on October 5, 2023. He was born on September 6, 1940 in Rockbridge Baths, Virginia to the late Samuel Lee and Essie Hensley Breeden.

Prior to retirement, he was employed by Echols Brothers/Fairfield Bridge for forty-five years. He was a avid golfer.

Carl is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Joyce Fitzgerald Breeden; a brother, Harry Breeden of Staunton; his pet dog "Tiny"; best friend, Jay Smiley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a son, Tracy; two sisters and seven brothers.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Bible Church, 77 Glover Circle, Staunton, VA on October 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
