Carlin Nevill Rose, Jr., 82, a loving husband, brother, uncle, and proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at his residence in Staunton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Goldstein Rose; his sister, Nancy Lee Rose Bevis; his nephew, Charles "Chuck" Douglas Rose, Jr.; and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Douglas Rose, Sr.
A funeral service to celebrate Carlin's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton with Pastors Hurley Short and Paul Campbell officiating.
Interment will follow at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.
