Catherine Henrietta Otto

CATHERINE S. OTTO STAUNTON, VA Catherine Henrietta (Stevenhagen) Otto, 98, widow of David Jackson Otto, of Baldwin Park, 21 Woodlee Road, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011, in the Shenandoah House, Fishersville. She was born June 17, 1913 in Wilkensburg, PA a daughter of the late Christiaan and Cornelia Jahanald (Pulte) Stevenhagan. She will be fondly remembered for her love of nature, artistic abilities, and beautiful smile. Family members include two daughters, Joanna Gerringer of Staunton and Carol Negus of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Katie Snider, Tricia Nelson, and Ty Gerringer; and three great granddaughters, Emily, Marianne, and Lily. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Baldwin Park. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 215, Fishersville, VA 22939. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
