Charlotte Louise Scott, 63, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Scott was born on April 26, 1959 in Albemarle County to the late Mitchell Void Scott, Sr. and Hawsie Ann (Truslow) Fitzgerald.
She worked for Jim Snead Ford in the auto detailing department. Prior to that she was a waitress at Pizza Inn, when it was open, for ten years.
Charlotte is survived by three daughters, Shellie Smith (Charles), Carolyn Sullivan (Timmy Campbell, fiancé) and Maxine Peregory (Woody); two sons, Richard W. Scott (Karen) and Carl W. Riddle (Crystal); her fiancé, Wayne Sprouse; three sisters, Lisa Scott, Elizabeth “Tida” Kellison and Rita Kelley; grandchildren, Taylor Riddle, Lanie Riddle, Cody Sullivan, Brittany Riddle, Kaitlin Scott, Josh Scott, Jamie Kelly, Jerrina Stalworth, Brittany Lewis, Corey Lewis, and Melissa Lewis; great-grandchildren, Aria Farmer, Aiden Stalworth, Aurora Clark, Hudson Sullivan, Brynlee Sullivan, Dakari Jones, Amariah Scott, Braylon Scott, Eliza Welcher and James Shifflett; and former husband, Carl Riddle.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Stella M. Riddle; brothers, Roger W. Scott, Sr., Merritt “Mikey” S. Scott; and Mitchell “Mickey” V. Scott, Jr.
All services will be held at a later date.
The family extends a special thanks to the 10th Floor, ICU, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, especially Ryan and Madison.
