Christine Elaine (Humphrey) Knight, wife of Bennie Dale Springel, went to be with the Lord on Friday April 22, 2022.
She was born on October 1, 1969, a daughter of Ray Elwood and Marsha Humphrey and Alice (Ruleman) Vines.
Christine had a heart of gold and loved her family very much! Even through her years of sickness she never complained and was always concerned about others before herself. She loved music and loved a good cup of coffee! Most importantly, she loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart!
She is survived by her children, Joshua Canham (Brittany) of Vesuvius, Tabatha Humphrey of Vesuvius, Jason Springel of Greenville; a brother, Joseph Humphrey (Holly) of Staunton, a half- brother Marty Humphrey (Linda) of Ohio, a half-sister, Marcy Sullivan ( Tim) of Ohio; a half-sister, Melissa Sweet of Lyndhurst; step-sisters, Laura Hamilton (Gary) of Ohio and Angie Loan (Glenn) of Ruckersville, a step brother, Chris Kyger (Sheila) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Austin Donald, Evelyn Canham, Madixx Canham, Kennedy Canham, Madisan Springel, and Kayleigh Springel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday April 27, 2022 by Pastor Rusty Marshall. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105) or to the A.S.P.C.A (P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929).
