Daniel G. Anderson

Daniel Guy Anderson, 76, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. He was born on September 9, 1947 in Grayson, Virginia to the late Jessie Alexander and Minnie Viola Pilkins Anderson.

Daniel was an avid outdoorsman who had a deep passion for hunting and fishing. Spending time in nature brought him immense joy and he cherished the moments he had immersed in its beauty. Alongside his hobbies, Daniel had a talent for storytelling; his tales would captivate those around him and leave them laughing.

Daniel is survived by two sons, Matthew Peyton Anderson and his wife, Maya Kartseva and Jeremy Lewis Anderson; two granddaughters, Vera Anderson and Mara Anderson; a grandson, Thomas Anderson; and the mother of his children, Terry Anderson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Millard Anderson.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
