Darris W. Cash I

Darris Wayne Cash I, 77, of Staunton, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. 

He was born in Staunton on January 12, 1947, to the late Wilbur Nelson and Thelma May Cash in Staunton.

Darris retired after thirty-eight years of dedicated service at DuPont. His passion for hot rods was only surpassed by his unwavering commitment to his beloved wife of fifty-one years, the late Delores Ann Thomas Cash.

Darris is survived by his children, Darris Wayne Cash II and his wife, Kelley, Daryl Jay Cash and his partner, April Justice, and Danielle Angelique Cash Myers and her partner, Steve Kite. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Skylar Lyman, Matt Myers, and Brodie and Brogan Cash.
