David Roger Cason

DAVID R. CASON STAUNTON, VA David Roger Cason, 70, of 1121 Montgomery Ave., died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born April 7, 1944, a son of the late Luther E. Cason and Evelyn L. (Gray) Blackwell. Prior to retirement, Mr. Cason was employed by the Waynesboro Public Works. He was a member of Rejoicing Life Church in Stuarts Draft. Family members include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Fred and Gayle Cason of Fishersville and Danny Blackwell of Staunton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Dennis O'Dell of Charlotte, North Carolina, Sylvia Nuckoles of Fishersville, and Bonnie and Greg Sheffield of Staunton; and a special friend, George Mays. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, in the Rejoicing Life Church, Broadmoor Plaza, Stuarts Draft, by Pastor Mike Lawson. Burial will be private. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
