David “Dave” Paul Lambert, 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at River Edge Rehabilitation and Nursing in Waynesboro.
He was born on November 12, 1942, in Onego, West Virginia to the late Curtis and Gae Raines Lambert.
He served as a construction superintendent with J.B. Wine, Harmon and Nelson Construction, where his commitment to excellence and leadership were evident.
David was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing. He was also deeply associated with the Augusta Archers, where he honed his archery skills. Faith was also an integral part of David's life.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Annette Sheets Lambert; his sons, Timothy Lambert (Tracey) and Patrick David Lambert and his wife, Shawna; his daughters, Cindy Raines and her husband, Doug and Shawna Lambert; his brother, Anthony Lambert; his sisters, Shirley Sites, Brenda Vance and her husband, Gene, and Vicky Colaw and her husband, Larry; his grandchildren, Sierra and Isaac Lambert, Clay Raines and his wife, Brenna, Chloe Butts and her husband, Jordan, Cate King and her husband, Mitchell, Carson Raines and his wife, Julie, Grace, Martha, Clara, and Olivia Lambert, Alex and Brayden Azucena; and his great-grandchildren, Sterling Raines, Bennett and Josephine Butts, and Magnolia King.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Ryan David Lambert; and his brothers, Charles Curtis and Dwight Woodrow Lambert.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mount Sidney with Pastor Derek Bogg officiating.
