David M. West

David Michael West, 67, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

He was born January 11, 1957, in Burlington, VT, to the late Lawrence Lewis and Bertha Mae Sulham West.

David was a lover of the great outdoors. When he wasn't pursuing his passion for hunting and fishing, you could often find him cheering on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, or indulging in the thrill of NASCAR. Jeff Gordon in the #24 car was his all-time favorite driver. Above all, spending time with his family was most important and what made him happiest.

He is survived by his sons, Scott Michael and Brett Christopher West; his brothers, Louis Arnold, Richard Lawrence, Armand Eugene, William Arthur, Bernard Charles and Daniel Paul West; his sisters, Jeanette Irene West Bruner, Elaine Marie West Silvirea, Marlene Florence West Boucher and Loretta Lorraine West Jackson; his grandsons, Trevyn Michael and Cole Michael West; his granddaughters, Mikayla Brittany West, Chyna Monet Nolley, Aubrey Caroline West, Lauren Elizabeth West, Camdyn Mackenzie West and two great-grandsons; Kaedence Kiam Major West and ZaQor Scott.

In addition to his loving wife, Karen Sue Mahoney West and his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Sue West Nolley; his brothers, Norman Francis and Steven Edward West, and his sisters, Mary Jean Supernault West and Virginia May Boucher West.
