DEBORAH W. ELPHEE CHURCHVILLE, VA Deborah Lou (Worrell) Elphee, 70, wife of David T. Elphee, of 257 Hudley Distillery Road, Churchville, died Monday, June 20, 2011, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born May 18, 1941, in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Donald E., Sr., and Dorothy (Lostetter) Worrell. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. In addition to her husband, family members include a son, David Elphee of Marshall; two daughters, Rebekah Elphee of Staunton and Karyn King of Churchville; a brother, Donald Worrell, Jr., of Troy, Michigan; eleven grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Katie Elphee, Tanner Elphee, Wayne, Nikki, and Paige Pettry, Trevor Elphee, Matthew, Samantha, and Britanny Gregory; cousins, Timothy Parkinson of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Diane Molinari of Supply, NC; and special dog, Ginger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011,in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church by Father Burt Sare. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Assisi Hall. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of King's Daughters' Rehab, the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad, the staff of the Wound Clinic of Augusta Health, Priority Transport, and Dr. Christopher Heck.
