Diego Hernandez
Diego Hernandez, 16, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 at UVA Medical Center.
Diego was born on June 1, 2006 in Augusta County to Pedro Hernandez and Wendy Seekford.
He attended Wilson Memorial High School and had many friends. Diego was such a special person and could light up any room with his smile. He touched many lives through his adversities and will never be forgotten.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Brenda Seekford Moreno (Beto); two brothers, Jordan and Lorenzo Romero; a sister, Feliza Hernandez; an uncle, Jonathon Seekford; his aunt, April Stokes (David); and many cousins and friends.
Diego is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, C. A. Seekford and his paternal grandparents, Alfredo Hernandez and Feliza Guerra.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Henry Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Friday, September 30, 2022 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeffery Lucas. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro.
Active pallbearers will be David Stokes, Cody Stokes, Blake Stokes, Michael Madison, and Colton Turner.
