Dinah H. Cash

Dinah Frances Hall Cash, 78, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 

She was born on September 9, 1945, in Smyth County to the late Reverend and Mrs. Fields Vernon and Fannie Frances Church Hall. 

Dinah will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and love for her family.

In her lifetime, Dinah was an active member of Valley Baptist Church in Stuarts Draft. She had a passion for ceramics, enjoyed watching soap operas, and cherished moments spent with the children in her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Lou Hall; her brothers, Reverend Franklin “Frank” Smith Hall and his wife, Judy, Roger Lee Hall, Charles Vernon Hall and his wife, Joyce, and Jeffrey Lynn Hall and his wife, Sandy; her sister, Virginia Darlene Hall Rankin and her husband, Frankie; her grandchildren, Chad and Justine Fix; Brad Fix and Caroline Morales, Marie and TJ Johnson, and Heather Christian; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Kennan Cash; a brother, Phillip Eugene Hall; a grandson by marriage, Philip E. Christian; and a sister-in-law, Patsy Hall.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
