Doris S. Harris

STUARTS DRAFT - Doris Sensabaugh Harris, 61, wife of Michael W. Harris, went to where she knew her faith would take her with her husband and sons by her side on July 14, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Harris was born on January 6, 1961 in Augusta County to William and Betty Geraldine (Everitt) Sensabaugh.

Doris worked in the McKee IT Department as an Applications Engineer and was an aerobics instructor for 15 years at Augusta Health. She lived for her husband, two boys, grandchildren, and her family. She truly loved everyone and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her husband of 39 years and her parents, she is survived by her sons, William Michael Harris and wife Crista, and Benjamin Wade Harris and wife Regan; her sisters, Sandra Bazan and husband John, and Debra Tower and husband Brett; and her grandchildren, Lennon Margaret Harris, Havyn Lee Harris, Lakelynn Jean Harris, and Grayson Levi Harris.

The family will receive friends at their residence at 2377 Indian Ridge Rd., Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Augusta Memorial Park.
