Edward Lynn Ebron, 60, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

He was born on October 28, 1963, in Richmond to Edna Vernell Acors Ebron and the late Roger William Ebron, Sr.

Edward was a dedicated public servant who spent many years serving the City of Richmond as a deputy sheriff. He was known for his unwavering commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the safety of those around him. Edward's dedication and professionalism made him an invaluable member of the law enforcement team, and he will be deeply missed by his colleagues and the community he served.

Outside of his career, Edward was a man of many passions and interests. He was an avid car collector and whether it was the sleek design or the power under the hood, Edward had an appreciation for all things automotive. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and cheering on his favorite drivers.

In addition to his mother, Edward is survived by his loving wife, Mary Judith Humphreys Ebron; his sisters, Karen Ebron Garrett and Valerie Ebron Cornett; his brother, Frederick William Ebron; his grandchildren, Caleb, Tavian, Jybraun, D'Mari, Saera, Christian, Dylan Briana, Savannah Peyton, and Jaxson; and his great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Kinsley, Isabella, Alaina, Greyson, and Gabriel. He also leaves behind his two loyal dog companions, Tia and Bailey.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Roger William Ebron, Jr.

A memorial service honoring the life and legacy of Edward will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Victory Worship Center in Staunton with Pastor Ray Eppard officiating.
