Elizabeth "Lizzy" K. Broderick

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Kay Broderick, 60, a daughter of the late Calvin Joseph Broderick and Marva Lee Crosby Pisco, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Lizzy was born on April 16, 1962 in Martinez, California.

She worked as an underwriter for State Farm Life Insurance. She also worked in customer service at the UVA Credit Union and prior to that, for Bank of America in California.

She was an avid reader and a real cat lover. Lizzy loved her family, the movies, and Shenandoah National Park and Topsail Beach in North Carolina.

Lizzy was like a second mother to her whole family and to have known her was to have loved her. She was generous, kind to all, and loved by many.

She is survived by her brother, Calvin Broderick and his wife, Jan; her sisters Samantha Martin and Marlo Adams and her husband, Carl; her nephews, W.J. Broderick and Josh Katen and his wife, Amanda; and her many nieces, Amber Eishenhart and her husband, Adam, Sylvia Fitzgerald and her husband, Putt, Justine Fix and her husband, Chad, Karly Griffin and her husband, Thunder, Chelsee Davis, and Taylor Wright; her great-nieces, Lilith, Alaina, Minerva, Kierra, Brianna, Ellodie, Bailee, Felicity, and Eryn, and her great-nephews, Elijah, Evan, Elliott, Tyler, Dustyn, Chris, and Kaleb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Scott Smith.
