Evelyn Mae (Carroll) Sandridge, 79, widow of Clyde Carson Sandridge, of Staunton, died Saturday, February 13, 2021, at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1941, in Brownsburg, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Antha (Runkle) Carroll.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Sandridge was employed by the Habitat Restore.
She loved cooking, baking, being a homemaker and loved her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a foster sister, Mary Williamson; and a grandson, Robert Lynn “Robbie” Kisamore.
Family members include two daughters, Ann Carson Sandridge (William Stewart) of Tennessee and Lisa S. Kisamore (Robert) of Staunton; three grandchildren, William A. “Tony” Stewart, Jr., Travis Kisamore and his girlfriend, Courtney Berry, and Corey Wheeler and his girlfriend, Brianna Petit; her caregiver, Peggy Kisamore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday, February 20, 2021, (weather permitting) in New Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Russell Heinrich.
Active pallbearers will be Aaron Bodkin, Chris Cleveland, Tyler Holsinger, Jon Talley, Brandon Turner, and Sam Earhart.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2021, in the Henry Funeral Home. (All current COVID 19 protocols must be followed).
