Ferne D. Rohr

Ferne (Driver) Rohr, 95, widow of Mr. Robert William Rohr, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 in The Legacy at North Augusta.

She was born on July 21, 1926 in Staunton, a daughter of the late, Earl William and Edith (Gilbert) Driver.

Mrs. Rohr was a devoted member of Staunton Church of the Brethren. She previously served as a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Sunshine Class and the Senior Group. She selflessly cared for many people in their time of need.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen William and Debra (Masincup) Rohr and foster grandchild Tori Warrington of Staunton, and Douglas Wayne and Valerie (Locklear) Rohr of Verona; a grandson Curtis William Rohr and his wife, Rebecca; great-grandchild, Lola James Rohr; and a sister-in-law, Alma Driver of Staunton.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Oscar W. Driver, and a daughter-in-law, Betty Jo (Landes) Rohr.

A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 2:30 P.M. by Pastor Beth Jarrett at Staunton Church of the Brethren. Masks are required.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Burial will be private.

Active pallbearers will be grandson, Curtis Rohr, George Folks, Alonzo Taylor, Donnie Fauber, Chris Faris, and Lianne Fauber.
