Frances Elaine Mitchell Cox, 74, passed away on February 9, 2023 at her residence in Staunton.
Frances was born on April 11, 1948 in Prince William to Wesley Bowers and Lorine Inez Hoover Mitchell.
She served as a housekeeper at Holiday Inn.
She is survived by her children, Crystal Cox, Sheri Cox-Gomez, and Robbie; her sisters, Glenna Mitchell Shoup, Martha Ann Mitchell Hamrick, and Leila Snell; her brothers, Stanley “Bill” Mitchell, Ronnie Mitchell, Wesley Bowers Mitchell, Timothy “Timmy” Mitchell, and Danny Ray Mitchell; her grandchildren, Rachel, Deven, Katrina, Britney, and Derryan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
