Freda W. Hite
Freda Genevieve (Wolfe) Hite, 92, widow of Dallas Wilson Hite, of Verona, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Augusta Health.
She was born February 9, 1929 in Middlebrook, a daughter of the late Worty K. and Gladys (Nulty) Wolfe.
Prior to retirement, Freda was employed by Virginia Metalcrafters as a welder.
She was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church and loved camping and fishing.
Family members include four sons, Ronald Hite and wife, Julie, James Hite and wife, Betty, Robert Hite and wife, Carolyn, and Donald Hite; a daughter, Janette H. Spencer; a brother, Paul Wolfe; 10 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Hite; seven brothers, Lacy, William, Eugene, Worty Jr., Robert, Lawrence, and Weldon Wolfe; and a sister, Betty Rankin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2021 in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the Henry Funeral Home.
