Helen Lotts Ramsey

Helen Lotts Ramsey, 100, beloved wife of Clarence Ramsey (deceased), of 340 Mary Gray Lane, Staunton passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at her home in Oviedo, Florida.

She was born August 10, 1921, the daughter of Leonard Zeno Lotts and Nora Dell (Barkley) Lotts.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked at the Pepsi Cola Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Staunton, Va.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis C. and Susanne K. Ramsey of Oviedo, Florida; two grandchildren, Kathryn (Ramsey) Walker and her husband Troy of Mansfield, Texas, and Daniel J. Ramsey and companion Neida Gonzalez of Oviedo, Florida; three great-grandchildren Bradley, Brett, and Brynnon Walker of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ramsey; her brothers, James and Lloyd Lotts; and her sister, Francis (Lotts) Caricofe.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Henry Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Steve Traylor officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
