Jason Wayne McAllister, 48, passed away on January 28, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Jason was born on February 17, 1974 in Staunton to the late Wayne “Mac” McAllister and Pamela Boyers Knott.
He served as the Head of the Parts Department at Wilson Trucking, where he worked for 26 years. Jason was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Jason loved spending time with family and friends.
Family includes Deborah Lynn McAllister, Hunter McCray, Steven Knott, and Maxine Boyers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Hunter McCray, Tim Decker, Kalin Decker, Daniel Bell, Kevin Serrett, and Andy Serrett.
