Jessica M. Craig

Jessica “Missy” Marie Craig, 61, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

She was born on April 7, 1963, in Staunton to the late James Edward, Sr. and Judy Ann Shifflett Craig.

Professionally, she worked as a CNA with Woodrow Wilson Workforce Center in Fishersville. Personally, she was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. Family meant everything to her, and she was a "Mimi to the world."

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Day Williams (Brett) and Tabitha Hallman (Will); her siblings, Punky Craig and his wife, Lisa, Pete Craig, Barbara Ann Craig Lotts (Eddie), and Sandy Shifflett; and her grandchildren, Hannah Hallman (Kyle Angel), Kobe Hallman (Courtney Figgins), Anthony Williams, Leila Williams, and Ethan Huntley. Missy was also survived by Aunt Zane and Karen Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her daughters, Troy Clark.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Faith Christian Church (2209 Poplar Street, Staunton) with Pastor Warren L. Knott officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
