Katherine E. Rudolph
Katherine Elwood (Ellinger) Rudolph, 78, widow of William Carlos Rudolph, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Augusta Health.
Mrs. Rudolph was born on October 8, 1943 in Virginia to the late Otho Elwood and Catherine Margaret (Neese) Ellinger.
She worked at Holsum Bakery and retired from ASR. Mrs. Rudolph was an animal lover and enjoyed yard sales.
Mrs. Rudolph is survived by her sons, Steven Wayne Rudolph and William Jackson Rudolph (Stephanie); a daughter, Sophia Lynn Strickler (Mark); grandchildren, Daniel Strickler (Laura); Tony Strickler, Emma Rudolph; two great grandchildren; a brother, Howard “Ward” Ellinger (Allen); a sister, Helen Faye Rowe (Jerry); and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, John, Lenny and Dick Ellinger.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 pm, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Henry Funeral Home.
As were her wishes, there will be no service.
