Kathy D. Reagan

Kathy Derrer Reagan of Clover passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the age of 65.

She was born in Staunton, VA on December 19, 1958. Kathy spent her childhood and early adult life in Staunton. 

She was preceded in death by her parents,  James Lloyd Derrer and Ruby Armentrout Derrer.

Kathy was employed with the Halifax County Public School System for 32 years as a data specialist.  She loved to garden, the beach and shopping.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Chaley Reagan Rutledge (Brian); her life partner, Aubrey Roller, Jr.; her grandchildren, Robert Reagan and Lacey Rutledge; her sister, Robin Harris; and her nephews, James Butler (Alana) and Christopher Butler.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home South Boston.

Later, in her hometown, the family will also receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.
