Kay S. Hunter

Kay Virginia Spitler Hunter, 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.

She was born on June 13, 1943 in Bridgewater to the late Raymond Bell and Elizabeth Mae Sanger Spitler.

She loved all animals and was a very skilled seamstress.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Hope Spitler Swartz and her husband, Bob, of Staunton; a nephew, W. Terry Smith III, and his wife, Becki, of Stuart's Draft; a niece, Holly L. Ballew and her husband, Marlin, of Henrico; a great nephew and niece; and many cousins.
