Kaye Vanderhoff, 65, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital in Lexington.
She was born on June 24, 1959, in Fort Meade, Maryland to the late Malcolm John and Gertrude Mildred Horony Vanderhoff.
Kaye enjoyed crafting and was an avid square dancer. She was also tenacious at playing cards with family. She loved Saint Paul’s Church where she sang in the Chancel Choir and Celebration. Her all-time favorite movie was “The Sound of Music”.
She is survived by her sisters, Susan “Sue” Vanderhoff Graham, and her husband, Roger, and Victoria “Vicki” Vanderhoff Sandritter; her brothers, Steven and Larry Vanderhoff; two special great nieces, Amelia and Autumn; her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Alexanderia “Colly” Vanderhoff Legarreta and Nancy Vanderhoff.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the team of caregivers during her time at Heritage Hall.
