Kenneth W. Senger

Kenneth Wayne Senger, 72, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, in the comfort of his residence in Greenville.

He was born on August 4, 1950, in Waynesboro, to the late Harlan Andes and Mary Virginia Coffman Senger.

For many years, he served as a production worker at Hollister Incorporated in Stuarts Draft. He approached his work with quiet diligence and commitment, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Outside of his career, Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. His interests extended to farming, gardening, hunting, and fishing. He possessed a deep appreciation for the natural world and took pride in being a true steward of the land. Whether planting seeds or casting a line into serene waters, Kenneth immersed himself fully in these activities that brought him immense happiness.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Andes and Matthew Wayne Senger; his daughter-in-law, Marissa Carolyn Joan Senger; his sister-in-law, Beverly Giesecke; and his brother-in-law, Michael Giesecke.

In addition to his loving parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Marguerite Bowers Senger, and his brother, Earl Paul Senger.
