Lelon "Lee" E. Moyer

Lelon "Lee" Edward Moyer, 91, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.

He was born on January 20, 1933, to the late Edward and Lillie Malissa Coffey Moyer.

His dedication to music was a source of joy and fulfillment for Lee.

He served for many years as a tax preparer with the Office of the Augusta County Commissioner of the Revenue. After his retirement, he worked with the Harrisonburg Auto Auction.

A faithful member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church in Staunton, Lee found solace and community in his church community. He was also a devoted volunteer at the church's food pantry.

In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marguerite Delores Viel Moyer and his brother, the Reverend Liston Edwin Moyer.

He is survived by his daughter, Doris Jean Moyer Webb; his sister-in-law, Etta Moyer; and his brothers-in-law, Bennie Armstrong and Pat Armstrong.
