May will be remembered by many for her smile, laugh, love for lighthouses, puzzles, flowers, and babies. May always looked her best and had to have her hair done. She was one of the best cooks around and was always helping with dinners and church events. May always had fresh cookies baked for all the trick-or-treaters who stopped by to see her and was always there to help her family during canning season. She loved to sit on the porch and snap beans and her hands were small enough to fit inside jars to pack those green beans just right. May loved vacations to Pigeon Forge and to VA Beach to visit her family. Her favorite place to eat was Cracker Barrel and hated ice in her water. May was a stranger to no-one and loved her family unconditionally.
