Linda M. Balser, 77, widow of John H. Balser, of Ruckersville, formerly of Stuarts Draft passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Balser was born on September 16, 1944 in Lexington to the late Robert Griffith and Elizabeth (Lotts) Mohler.
She was a LPN and worked at Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center for over 30 years. She loved gardening and her arts and crafts, including coloring. She was a special lady who will never be forgotten.
Mrs. Balser is survived by a son, Jason A. Brownlee and his wife, Lisa; a sister, Roberta Brinkley; grandchildren, Niki Solt (Joey), Jennifer Simmons, Lonnie Simmons, Jr. and fiancé, Anna Jones; great grandchildren, Makayla, Brianna, Serenity, Anthony, Allyson, Jillian, Seth, Lula, and Malaya; and numerous other family members.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jillian Simmons and a brother-in-law, Roger Brinkley.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Henry Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, July 11, 2022 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Clay Sterrett. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
