MARGARET C. SIEGEL DALEVILLE, VA Margaret Almeda (Craig) Siegel, 90, widow of William Lorne Siegel, Sr., of 200 Gleve Blvd., died Thursday, September 12, 2013, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born October 24, 1922, in Covington, a daughter of the late James Wallace, Sr., and Nora Virginia (Simpson) Craig. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Siegel was employed by Bessie Weller Elementary School in Staunton. She was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, who preceded her in death on November 30, 2010, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter on July 7, 1949; and a brother, James W. Craig, Jr. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, William L., Jr., and Susan Siegel of Mercersburg, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Thomas Wine of Troutville; a sister-in-law, Sharyn Craig of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Nathaniel and wife, Tracy Siegel, Benjamin Siegel, Thomas Wine, and Jeremy and wife, Korrine Wine; and a great grandson, Ayden Wine. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Robert W. Sharp. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
