Marion Ernestine (Hattan) Fauber, 94, widow of Melvin Fauber, passed away on November 9, 2021 at Brookdale.
Mrs. Fauber was born on May 15, 1927 in Covington, VA to the late Jacob Homer, Sr. and Ruth (Wiant) Hattan.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and was very active in the local AARP. She enjoyed baking, cooking, traveling, and gardening. Her faith was important to her and family was her focus.
She is survived by her son, Darryl B. Fauber (Debbie) of Mt. Sidney; her daughter Patricia F. Randall of Waynesboro; her brother, Jacob “Sonny” H. Hattan, Jr. (Mary) of Rockville; her grandchildren, Jeremy B. Fauber of Fishersville, Jamie S. Fauber (Heidi) of Fishersville, and Joshua T. Randall (Karen) of Annadale; and her great grandchildren, Pierce & Porter Fauber and Adelyn & Nora Randall.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Harold Franklin Randall, and her granddaughter, Allison D. Randall.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church.
Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeremy B. Fauber, Jamie S. Fauber, and Joshua T. Randall; and her nephews, Mike Hattan, Alan Hattan, and David Dance.
