Mary Alice Rowe

MARY A. ROWE WAYNESBORO, VA Mary Alice Rowe, 76, of 1221 Rosser Avenue, formerly of 221 W. Liberty Street, Staunton, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Avante of Waynesboro. She was born November 25, 1935 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Emmett Oscar "Jake", and Lila O'Rourke (Forbus) Rowe. Prior to retirement, Miss Rowe was employed by Western State Hospital. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Family members include a special aunt, Rosie Rowe and a number of cousins. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012, in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Kim Triplett. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 17 N. Lewis Street, Staunton, VA 24401. A special thanks to the staff of Avante of Waynesboro for their care.
