Michael A. Grant

Michael Alexander Grant, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his residence in Staunton.

He was born on June 12, 1972, in Elkhart, IN to the late Robert Gene and Marjorie Lynn Myers Grant.

Mike dedicated his working profession to Fenco, Inc. in Staunton, where he worked as a woodsman and crafted countertops, showcasing his talent and passion for working with his hands. Beyond his career, he enjoyed the great outdoors, often hunting and riding his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He also demonstrated his passions by continually tinkering with his guitar, creating his own melodies.

He leaves behind his daughter, Alexis Starr Grant Geesaman; his son, Aaron Michael Grant and his wife, Jasmine; his grandsons, David and Lincoln Geesaman and Tobias Grant; and his siblings, Raymon Gene Goble, Robert Joe Bradshaw, and Wanda Lynn Bradshaw Overmyer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Troy Justice Gage Moore.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Grant Family Cemetery in Montebello.
