Mickey Kay (Wimer) Massie, 62, wife of Kurt Douglas Massie, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at her residence.
She was born November 14, 1958, at Staunton the daughter of Judith Lane (Wimer) Strickler and the late Earl Samuel Floyd.
Mrs. Massie retired from Alcoa Building Products.
She loved fast cars and spending time with her family and being a grandmother.
In addition to her husband and mother, family members include a son, Jeffrey Massie; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kelly Wilcher; a step-daughter, Brooke Massie Brooks and son-in-law, Justin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Carolyn Strickler and Otis, Jr., and Debbie Strickler; a sister and brother-in-law, Mellony and Robert Williams; and eight grandchildren, Tyler Wilcher, Ryan Wilcher, Nathan Wilcher, Zachary Massie, Noah Massie, Braylon Brooks, and Jeffrey Massie, Jr.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her step-father, Otis Sylvester Strickler.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Corey Smallwood.
